LIMNIONAS BAY
Built in various 2-storey units around a swimming pool, the Limnionas Bay occupies a quiet position amidst olive trees a couple of minutes walk up the hill (not too steep) from the beach.
It houses various types of accommodation, all spacious and cool and nicely furnished, with tiled floors and pine or dark-stained wooden furniture.
Really quite excellent accommodation, friendly and family-run, in an idyllic location.
Hotel facilities and services
The Limnionas Bay operates as a small hotel, and has a reception (will change money), lounge and terrace restaurant serving buffet breakfast, drinks, snacks and Greek specialities.
The swimming pool in the gardens below is a decent size (c.160 sq.m., depth
1.20-3.80m) and there is a children’s pool to one side. Sunbeds and umbrellas (or olive trees!) are free of charge, and there is a low-key pool bar (may be seasonal).
Room facilities
The studios possess twin or double bed, some with an extra bed; corner kitchenette with light cooking facilities (rings) and fridge; tiled shower room with WC; and balcony to the front with views to the sea (some through the olive trees). All studios have a direct-dial telephone.
The apartments are similar with the addition of a living room containing one or two full-sized beds or, if a maisonette, a wooden sleeping gallery above.
A separate building houses the new Suites, which are sold on a bed and breakfast basis. These superior units are spacious and very nicely furnished.
They comprise a living room containing one or two sofa beds, a basic kitchen unit with cooking rings and fridge, and satellite TV. The front bedroom has twin or double beds and ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, shower and WC. Both rooms have air-conditioning included in the price, as is a buffet breakfast for those staying here.
Each suite has a large covered terrace with views over the hillside behind and, to the side the sea.
All studios, apartments and suites are airconditioned.
Lymnonas Bay village also features a two floor villa of 140 sq.m. each
floor, ideal for 3 to 6 guests. The villa offers living-room with a marble
fire place, fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms with jacuzzi and two
bedrooms.
Finally, Lymnonas Bay Village features a fully furnished and equipped 100
sq.m. detached house, with four bedrooms, ideal for 2 to 5 guests. Both the
villa and the house have aircondition.
